This painting was done in my sketchbook on a peaceful fall morning in the town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The dawn light kept changing as the sun rose, so I did made swatches of the colors in the landscape quickly to make sure that I could finish the scene accurately and quickly.
Printed on archival quality cotton rag paper using pigment-based inks, this fine art print captures the texture and detail of the original watercolor painting.
